Awesome Rumor of the Day: Angelina Jolie

I'm a bit too excited for an unconfirmed campaign, but E(exclamation point) News is reporting:

E! News has learned exclusively that Jolie is set to be the face of an upcoming worldwide ad campaign for designer Louis Vuitton. The print-only campaign, which is scheduled to launch this summer, will be marketed globally.

I'm obviously hoping for an eyewear shot, but would be particularly excited to see the two-tone, laser-cut Louis Vuitton Poppy from the Resort 2011 collection (at right).

The Poppys are available on louisvuitton.com for $485.

The Last Beautiful Girl

ngelina Jolie and her main squeeze were helicoptered from Manhattan to the Hamptons earlier this weekend to attend a charity dinner.


What other celebrity's paparazzi shots look like outtakes from a high fashion shoot? Not one. There is simply no one else who works a helipad like her.

Angie, Ain't It Good To Be Alive?

Her profile in January's Vogue was my favorite (and without a doubt the most highly publicized) cover in quite some time. Just look at her go! She's not dodging the Jennifer Aniston bullet, she's scaring the bejesus out of her interviewer midflight, she's posing for Annie Liebowitz wearing only a cashmere blanket in the desert and she is making it work.

Vogue says:

"...Angelina, the sexy man killer in a pencil skirt, the kind of look that she sports in those fantastic St. John ads. She is wearing a very formfitting white linen Ralph Lauren suit with heels and a great big ol' pair of white-and-silver Gucci sunglasses." [Source: Vogue]

These Gucci 1827 have been on my wishlist for quite some time now. Their aviator shape is nothing new, but they are perfectly designed. They are actually no longer available in Gucci stores, but you can still get them online.

The interviewer later goes on to describe her daily garb:

Considerable cleavage! Was that necessary, Vogue? I wonder if they were the same pair of Gucci's. And if she had them polarized to eliminate glare while tooling around in her planes and motorcycles. This is the kind of information I need -- her considerable cleavage is common knowledge!

f you've been keeping up with the web this morning, then you've certainly already read of Angelina Jolie's headline-worthy interview with Vogue, in which she provides details on the beginnings of the superfamily now known as the Jolie-Pitts.

Ms. Jolie is currently here in New York with Brad Pitt and their lovelies to promote her new film, The Good Shepard, with photographers carefully documenting their every move. Below, she was captured arriving at their hotel.
