Cheers to 2010: Jason Wu!

Harper's Bazaar is taking a look at some of the most exciting trends to look forward to in 2010, including chandelier earrings, Alice in Wonderland and - of course - Jason Wu's sunglasses. And there's good reason for the excitement. Wu, with MObama's backing, has become one of the most anticipated collections each season.

The Spring 2010 sunwear is a collaboration with Modo (which also produces eyewear for Derek Lam and 3.1 Phillip Lim) and consists of four pairs of sunglasses.

Pretty Young Thing

September's issue of Harper's Bazaar paid tribute to Michael Jackson with Agyness Deyn wearing his signature studded and sequined look. Though there's nothing groundbreaking about the timeless Ray-Ban Aviators, they are spot on here.

This month's Harper's Bazaar features our favorite rehabber, Lindsay Lohan, wearing Grey Ant Status Sunglasses.


These shades seem to be editorial darlings, as they were featured in Style.com's "Summer Stock" earlier this year.

Call me crazy, but fifteen hundred bucks for sunglasses is just much too much. Chanel Iman looks cute in them, though.

Bazaar: Fabulous at Every Age

practically tear my Harper's Bazaar apart when it comes in the mail each month. January's was no exception, particularly "Fabulous at Every Age" which got me psyched for spring's graphic prints, bright colors and florals.

I personally think any of these sunglasses would be lovely for a woman of any generation, but I am certainly looking forward to spring.

Harper's Bazaar -- November 2006

finally had the opportunity to catch up on my fashion magazines this weekend, specifically Harper's Bazaar.

In their "What's New: Hottest, Newest, Latest" column they detailed a recent development in designer sunglasses.

"The latest trend in eyewear comes from an unlikely source -- buckles. Fendi's B, Roger Vivier's signature Pilgrim, and Gucci's classic closure have appeared as details on glam oversize sunglasses. Who knew looking chic would be such a cinch?"
