Throwbacktion: Jeremy Scott X Linda Farrow

On one of my go-to photo Tumblrs, Suicide Blonde, I stumbled upon this Mario Testino shot for the March 2008 UK Vogue. Natalia Vodianova is pictured wearing the outlandish flip-up Jeremy Scott X Linda Farrow "Oh Mickey" sunglasses. Though Natalia is striking, SB rightly notes that the Mickeys real claim to fame is their appearance in the music videos for "Paparazzi" (on Lady Gaga) and "Telephone" (on Beyonce).

The Mickey's are currently sold out on both the Opening Ceremony and Linda Farrow websites -- an impressive feat given their retail price of $460. Knockoffs abound on ebay, however, for those determined to get the look (or to really nail their Gaga Halloween costume).

WORLD PREMIERE: Lady Gaga & Beyonce "Telephone"

Um. So. Lady Gaga. Where to begin? Her nine-minute video with Beyonce for their song "Telephone" was a veritable mess. A gorgeous, murderous mess.

I'll just start with the screenshots. Besides the obvious Chanels, Clubmasters and (still-lit) cigarette sunglasses, there's a few I'll have to get back to you on identifying.

Seriously, you're going to need to click to zoom in on that thing.

Maybe its best just to let you watch the thing for yourself. Let me know if you think the Clubmaster-clad brunette in prison is an un-Gaga'd Gaga. A Stephanie Germanotta, if you will.

Upgrade B

n case you're into this kind of thing: Beyonce's music video for her new single, "Upgrade U" premiered yesterday. While B waxes poetic about all things costly, her face is adorned with some Cazal vintage frames. That's sooo 2006 Gwen Stefani, B; you might as well bouffant your 'do, slather on the red lips and slip into your leopard print jacket while tossing Kingston to your roadie.

I kid, I kid. Lord knows I love the Cazal. (And Gwen Stefani for that matter.)

These aren't the precise model Beyonce is wearing, but you can't argue with these Cazal Vintage 946 Sunglasses.

Cost: $255
