Landing yet another significant campaign, Crystal Renn has replaced Amber Valletta as the face of Jimmy Choo this season.

Congratulations to Crystal, can't wait to see the whole campaign.

Return of the Super: Amber Valletta for Jimmy Choo FW 2010

Looking like Diane Kruger's older, less German sister, Amber Valletta fronts Jimmy Choo's FW 2010 campaign.

More Choo, Please

'm increasingly excited about the new Jimmy Choo sunglasses line. So is Style.com's blog, Style File, as seen at right.

They dig the Jimmy Choo Lou sunglasses for their hardware. Try them on at Neiman Marcus, where they retail for $295.

I'm more interested in a different pair, the Jimmy Choo JJ Sunglasses.

They are by far the most interesting sunglasses I have seen in a while -- check out their joints! They're available in black and dark havana on Bergdorf Goodman's website for $345.

Kat Von D Dons Jimmy Choo

'm no expert in matters of the heart, so I can't say one way or another if Kat Von D and Nikki Sixx are actually dating, as their MySpaces attest.

But I do know sunnies and I can state with complete assurance that Ms. Von D is wearing the newly introduced Jimmy Choo Jerry Sunglasses. Their sheer size borders on silly, but I am still strangely compelled by them.

Check them out at Neiman Marcus for $295.

Jimmy Choo Launch

midst all the excitement of New York's Fashion Week, I did not blog about the upcoming premier of sunglasses made by Jimmy Choo. It was announced in late last week that the company has been sold to TowerBrook Capital Partners LP and that Tamara Mellon would stay with the firm.

Jimmy Choo to Launch Eyewear, Fragrance Lines

LONDON — With a new owner, Jimmy Choo is out to move beyond footwear and leather goods.

"We're going to continue developing this company independently. There is still potential for growth." -- Robert Bensoussan, Jimmy Choo

The company, acquired earlier this week by the private equity firm TowerBrook Capital Partners LP, will unveil a full eyewear line by the end of the year and plans to launch its first fragrance in 2008.

While their shoes are charming, their handbag line is a bit of an overpriced mess. Let's hope the sunglasses line brings more to the table.
