Meisel's Muse

This Lanvin campaign caught my eye everytime I came across it in print. It features Norwegian model Iselin Steiro, photographed by Steven Meisel.

Up Close: Dior Spring Summer 09

Check out these streamlined cat-eyes, as modeled by Olga Sherer in the Spring Summer 2009 Dior show. Radical.

Best of the Best: Carolina Herrera

Though I'm still making my way through the New York show photos, I'm confident that this pair of Carolina Herrera sunglasses (as modeled by Lily Donaldson, at right) will be one of my favorite pairs of the season.

The sunnies shown in this runway show were as elegant as the clothing itself.

What Seems to be the Problem, Officer TopShop?

In London this week, the TopShop Unique showed that there is such a thing as too much 80s influence.

Models (clockwise from top left) Alice Burdeu, Heloise Guerin, Jourdan Dunn and Sara Blomqvist showcased sunglasses made famous by the highway patrol. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Up Close: Zac Posen

Model Bette Franke wears a seemingly art deco-inspired update on last season's clear trend at last week's Spring 2009 Zac Posen runway show. Swanky.

Statement Sunnies

Vera Wang's runway looks featured "statement sunglasses" in a big way at her New York Fashion Week show this week.

Spring 2009: Cynthia Rowley

Though Cynthia Rowley is not necessarily the first designer name that comes to mind when considering sunglasses, I dug her futuristically 80s sunglasses at her Spring 2009 show in Bryant Park this week.

Might as well face it, with these models all lined up, I get a Robert Parker "Addicted to Love" video vibe. And I don't hate it.

You know what else I don't hate? Cynthia Rowley's funky cat eye sunglasses on sale for $175 on the official website.
