In their Spring 2010 ad campaign, Gucci doesn't exactly cover any new ground: Natasha Poly, bamboo arms, Mediterranean tans. And yet. I want to go to there.

lso in Milan, MaxMara showed futuristic sunnies and a whole lot of shoulder.

Apparently, Natasha Poly isn't just for Gucci eyes only.

othing gets my blood going like a fresh advertising campaign. And Gucci's Spring 2008 campaign (which continues the Natasha Poly lovefest) features quite a few new sunnies.



On Ms. Poly, black plastic sunglasses with bamboo horsebit in crystal strass, GG3017/S.

On nameless male model, black plastic and metal sunglasses with Gucci crest on the temples and dark grey lenses, GG1594/S.


On Ms. Poly, black plastic sunglasses with bow on the temples and dark grey lenses, GG3006/S.

On him, black plastic sunglasses with photoengraved semirectangular G on both temples and smoke lenses, GG1586/S.


On her, black metal sunglasses with GG logo in crystal strass and grey lenses, GG2807/S.

Natasha Poly on Holiday

he Gucci Cruise 2008 Collection is now available in stores and online. Surely, you've seen the ad campaign starring the gape-jawed stunner, Natasha Poly.

It seems Frida Giannini has a bit of a thing for Ms. Poly, who not only stars in the campaign, but also opened and closed the runway show.)

There is already a waiting list for the horsebit pair below on Natasha Poly ("large oval frame sunglasses with horsebit buckle detail and gucci script logo on temple"), which retail for $295.

Donatella's Doppelgängers

ometimes, a designer's collection is so very similar to their own look, that it is difficult to imagine them being able to dress themselves at all if their clothing line did not exist. Donatella Versace's Spring 2008 collection was a prime example of that, in my opinion. And Donatella looks better than ever.

There is something streamlined Cazal about these sunglasses that I really like. I can't wait to see them off the runway.

Indy < $500

ucci has launched its first ever campaign devoted to a single accessory: the Indy Bag. The campaign, featuring model Natasha Poly and GG 2969 sunglasses, debuted in August magazines.
