Season's Best

n my favorite sunglasses of fall news, Donatella Versace and her team have shown a pair that tops my current wishlist. Below, as they are seen on Jessica Stam, Michaela Kocianova and Viviane Orth.

And how great was it to see Daria Werbowy back on the runway!

When WhoWhatWear Says "Sunnies," I Say, "How Bright?"

n my humble, day-to-day blog-reading routine, WhoWhatWear Daily is a staple. Their site is consistently polished and on-trend. Plus, they sweat Peaches Geldof like I sweat Peaches Geldof.

So when they recommend a pair of sunglasses, I take note, especially when they're designed by Karl Lagerfeld.

I was feeling oversaturated by wayfarers when Mr. Lagerfeld's SS 08 Collection came out, but now I am a bit remorseful for having not included the original runway show photos.

Please to enjoy:

The Perfect Sunglasses to Wear with Your New "Cocktail Shorts"

ecause the pairing of sunglasses and evening wear is so unexpected, I always find Carolina Herrera's usage of flash so enjoyable. And she certainly shocked and awed us this week with her Spring Summer 2008 showing.

Clockwise from top left: Snejana Onopka, Freja Beha Erichsen, Jessica Stam, Lily Donaldson, Behati Prinsloo and Du Juan. Is it weird that Snejana's and Lily's bizarre open-circle-nose-piece sunglasses are my favorites?

Milan: III

here are a few constants to runway shows. Miuccia is going to shake things up. LV is going to prominently display gorgeous handbags. Gucci is going to feature big sunglasses. And generally, I am going to love them.

There is something a bit bug-eyed about these shades, no? When Jessica Stam doesn't look good in sunglasses, I can't imagine them selling well.
