Marc-ism

ord knows I love British
Vogue. March's issue -- that's right, the one with Daria Werbowy -- was especially exciting, as spring's approach brings a dramatic increase in sunglasses coverage.

UK Vogue was particularly big on all sunglasses Marc Jacobs this month. In a piece detailing runway to reality, they plug spring's sporty styles with Marc Jacobs' MJ 092 sunglasses.

Personally, I think these sunglasses are a bit too reminiscent of unibrows, but who am I to argue with Vogue?
Cost: $293
Colors: Shiny Black, Dark Brown, Havana, Caramel (as seen at left), Dark Green, Bordeaux
Retailer: Otticanet.com

Meanwhile, the magazine's "Diary" extols the virtues of Louis Vuitton Faux Semblant Rectangle.

"The Faux Semblant Rectangle model features a strong sculptured acetate frame polished by hand, and hinges reminiscent of the corners of the legendary Louis Vuitton trunks."

Sure, they cost £290. But let's not harp on the negative.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers: Versace's New Face

onathan Rhys Meyers has been selected as the star of Versace's fall advertising campaigns.

He will be pictured alongside a slew of uberbabes, including Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy and Christie Turlington. The photos should be on newsstands now.

I don't normally love Versace -- after all, who needs Medusa on their face? -- but you are more than welcome to check them out here.

Fall 2006 Ready to Wear: Michael Kors

n a move that can likely be attributed to an acid flashback, designer Michael Kors paraded each of his fall line's models down the runway in yellow-hued aviators.

style.com reports:
After last season's road trip through the Painted Desert, Michael Kors returned to the East Coast for fall inspirations—specifically to Jay Gatsby's West Egg and the Harvard stomping grounds of Love Story's Ali MacGraw...

While the yellow av's are perfectly acceptable for say, Daria Werbowy or a young Ali MacGraw, for a less obtrusive, but still distinctive pair of Michael's, might i recommend:

MICHAEL KORS Bamboo-Arm Sunglasses
