M is for Maybe

s more pictures of Madonna's M line for H&M surface, my uncertainty grows. Or maybe that's my ambivalence. I'm just not sure the world needs mass-produced Madonna wear.

With any luck, though, her new line will fare better than her H&M tracksuits.

Madonna, 48, said: "I've made no secret of my love of fashion. Working with H&M was an exciting and new creative challenge. I'm happy with the results and look forward to wearing M by Madonna along with the rest of the world."

The collection - described as "reflecting Madonna's timeless, unique and always glamorous style" - goes into stores in 28 countries, including the UK, next month.

It includes lumber jackets, blazers, kimono dresses, handbags and sunglasses, mainly in white, black, khaki and grey. A Madonna favourite is a stylish trenchcoat in cotton poplin and leather. Prices will range from £7.99 to £149.99.

These sunglasses aren't offensive, but I wonder if they will be closer to the £8 end of the spectrum.

  1. I am a Madonna fan but not unconditional - what on earth is that thing on the glasses? It would cover a good part of the vision.
And my goodness that pic is photoshopped!

Or is that thing a reflection from the photo shot ...?

    Confused again
