Color Me Surprised

am many things, but a Kirsten Dunst fan I am not. But, if I'm honest, I have to say her effort for Miu Miu's Spring/Summer 08 is the most successful celebrity fashion campaign I've seen in ages.

Sure, I love all things Alice in Wonderland-inspired, but this campaign certainly put the house's former face, Lindsay Lohan, to shame. Well played. (I'm still not netflixing "Elizabethtown," though.)

Sonia Rykiel in Glossy

he Spring/Summer Sonia Rykiel show, chock full of massive sunnies, was one of my favorites last season, so I was excited to see the ad campaign in action.

I kind of like how it looks my eccentric grandma out for a stroll, that is, if my grandmother was Iekeliene Stange. I'm not kidding, I really do like that about it.

This is How You Work the Heathrow Paps

don't often include Kylie Minogue, because (A) she almost always looks great and (B) she has enough internet good will already. But this was the first time I was excited to see a pair of Ray-Bans in quite some time, which I thought was worth mentioning.

This Will Surely Dispel Those Alien Rumors

ritish tabloids are calling her Marc Jacobs campaign Teletubby-inspired, but I have to credit Victoria Beckham's ability to poke fun at herself. How often does a major fashion house's advertising make you laugh?

The sunnies themselves are reminiscent of the Chanel 5018 sunglasses popularized by first trimester Nicole Richie.

The Latest in Timeless Fashions

he
New York Times has christened every celebrity's favorite sunglasses of 2006, the Tom Ford Whitney, to be among the new school of fashion classics.

"Tom Ford’s Whitney sunglasses, now in a variety of colors in addition to black and brown, are the original way to dodge the paparazzi ($320 at eluxury.com or bergdorfgoodman.com)."

The Moment Calls for Cat-Eyes

e've been heralding their ascent for a bit now, but now seeing them (everywhere) in print there is no denying that cat-eye is definitely having a moment.

Plus, now they're Mrs. Fashion-approved.

To stay on point, I still recommend these Tom Ford Anouk sunglasses.

Fresh Blood At Gucci

othing gets my blood going like a fresh advertising campaign. And Gucci's Spring 2008 campaign (which continues the Natasha Poly lovefest) features quite a few new sunnies.
